Emerging from the chrysalis, a reminder of who you are. Down a boat, on a river of dreams, I find my feet. May the fire purify what used to be and the water usher in a new purity. Cellular regeneration, dawn pierces cleanly.
My piece from January for the Emergence exhibition held by @downto_earthcollective at Meat Market Melbourne. Inspired by the concept of emergence, when I started painting I couldn’t stop going for a butterfly shape so I just rolled with it. Marking a moment in time before many changes, art imitates life.
