This is my 5th annual iteration of creating moon and cycle calendars! Time flies. It is so special and interesting to have a yearly ritual which allows me to reflect a certain moment in time of my artistic evolutions. Each year is different, because I am different - and that in itself is a lovely added layer and representation of the cyclical nature of life.
Because I am an international girlie, this calendar was created in UTC timezone format to suit as many time zones as possible. Depending on where you are in the world, the full or new moons might be off by a few hours and therefore show as a different day - you can double check the exact transits based on your specific location to be sure.
As with every year, I encourage you to use this calendar to mark and track your menstrual cycles (if you have one). I usually suggest finding a red or maroon pencil to color in the moons of your bleeding days. It it really interesting to observe how your body’s cycle reflects itself with the moon’s phases over the course of a whole year and to see it represented visually.
